A RESOLUTION AMENDING URBAN RENEWAL RESOLUTION NO. 00-001
REGARDING THE CANBY URBAN RENEWAL ADVISORY BOARD ESTABLISHING NEW ADVISORY BOARD
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS AND TERMS OF OFFICE.
WHEREAS, on March 1, 2000, the
City of Canby Urban Renewal Agency Board passed Resolution No.
00-001 establishing the Canby Urban Renewal Advisory Committee
for the purpose of advising the Board on certain matters relating
to urban renewal and establishing staggered two year membership
terms; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting of
May 15, 2002, the Board decided to make some changes in the membership and terms
of the members of the Advisory Committee;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS
HEREBY RESOLVED by the City of Canby Urban Renewal Board that the membership
of the Advisory Committee shall be amended as follows:

The Advisory Committee shall be comprised of
nine (9) members.

Members shall be four (4) citizens-at-large;
one (1) from the Canby Business Revitalization Board (CBR);
one (1) from the Chamber of Commerce Board (Chamber); one
(1) from the Industrial Area Association (IAA); one (1) from
the Canby Fire District Board (CFD); and one (1) business
person not a member of any of previously identified boards.

All members must reside or own a business within
the Urban Growth Boundary of the City except those members
who represent CBR, Chamber, IAA and CFD Boards.
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED that the terms of membership on the Advisory
Committee shall be three years, beginning on the date of approval
of this resolution with membership terms being determined by lot
at the first meeting of the Committee with three members serving
one year terms, three members serving two year terms and three
members serving three year terms.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED
that all other provisions of UR Resolution No. 00-001 shall remain in full force
and effect.
This resolution shall take effect on June 19, 2002.
ADOPTED this 19th day of June, 2002, by the Canby Urban Renewal
Agency Board.
