UR Resolution No. 03-001
A
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THAT THE CANBY CITY COUNCIL AMEND THE
BOUNDARIES OF THE CANBY URBAN RENEWAL DISTRICT BY REMOVING APPROXIMATELY
0.14 ACRES ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SE 1st AVENUE.
WHEREAS,
a change in the location of SE 1st Avenue has islanded
a small portion of the Urban Renewal District; and
WHEREAS,
this has resulted in difficulties for the property owner and County
Tax Assessor; and
WHEREAS,
only the City Council has the authority to make a reduction in
the District Boundaries under state law and under Canby’s
Urban Renewal Plan;
NOW,
THEREFORE, THE CANBY URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
(1)
The Agency recommends
that the Canby City Council amend the Canby Urban Renewal District
Boundary to eliminate approximately 0.14 acres, as more particularly
described in Exhibit “A,” attached.
The
effective date of this resolution is February 12, 2003.
ADOPTED
by the Canby Urban Renewal Agency Board at a regular meeting thereof
on February 12, 2003.
