| Duties and powers:
The committee shall be specifically responsible for,
but not limited to the following:
Developing and assessing, on a ongoing basis, the transportation
needs of the citizens of Canby.
Acting in an advisory capacity to the Transit Director in the coordination
of transit services.
Promoting and educating the public regarding acceptance and usage
of the transit system.
Promoting and educating the public regarding special problems associated
with the use of the transit system by youth, elderly and disabled
citizens. |

Get Involved!
We need your participation, input, involvement and lots of discussion
so we can create the best plan possible for Canby Area Transit.
The City of Canby - Canby Area Transit is developing
a Transit Master Plan. This process will provide an exciting opportunity
for the City to work with community organizations, citizens, advisory
committees, elected officials and planners to create a transit plan
that enhances the transit system and ultimately will result in improved
mobility for transit customers and meet the transportation needs
of the residents, visitor's, and business community of the City
of Canby.
